Where'd He Go?

I don't know how the oligos enter the cells. I'm not even sure whether the molecules are actively taken up by pinocytosis, or somehow just diffuse across the cell membrane. According to my contact, they have a way of modifying the backbone of the oligonucleotide to enhance cell penetrance. However, the dillema is this; by enhancing the penetrance, they may reduce the stability and therefore half-life of the molecule, so it is always a balancing act.
