Jan: Thanks for your responses on the other board. I've been going through the charts in my TC2000 database and looking at the converted P&F charts in the EZPNF program. As I stated before this is a whole new experience. Went to the dorsey site and looked around and went through the charting primer. I have read the past couple hundred posts on this thread. Lousy weather here. Good time to do some more learning. I have a couple questions if someone here doesn't mind answering #1 What do the numbers that appear in the columns signify? #2 From my untrained observances of the P&F charts it seems that much of the move up from a bottom is missed when waiting for confirmations of breakouts whereas bottoms can sometimes be acted on a little sooner using the B Bands, Stochastics and RSI. (But you can definitely get whipsawed as well using these) Comments??? #3 This charting process seems to be geared towards intermediate to longer term investing rather than short term trading. Comments ????? I would like to add that this thread seems to be one of the better threads I have seen. I deleted all names from the (xox) as many should have sold to protect profits... Many portfolios took a huge hit in the final week... Congradulations to everyone, thanks for participating and I only hope you learned a little something from all of this that will be of use in the future.
