re boring
Peter Lynch always said boring is good for steady increases in stock price. Exciting is good for increases followed by big decreases.

as a new subscriber here to this thread i hate to negative ( it happens to be my nature )....i'm long on dell and am trying to ge the courage up to buy more going into this earnings rally...........but the comment on dell "CFO" nominated for "CFO" of the year seems to be a kiss of death.........didn't andy grove get full coverage similar to that the year before he resigned and the company stopped growing.........
quite frankly its seems to me after reading the recent investors business daily ads for the dell computers .............with all the talk about asp going down.....look at the configurations of the latest computers and if it doesn't make one think about how soon the prices will be coming down i don't know what will..........
please tell me how many people really need a 10 gb hard drive
128mg ram ........400 processors are fine but these configurations just seem a bit unrealistic to me.....somewhere down the road the prices are going to come down a whole lot faster than they are now....
i don't really know all that much about computers but please tell me if my fears seem unfounded i'm still long on dell......just concerned
oh by the the way i also own a dell pentium II 233 and think it"s the greatest computer of any of all the ones i"ve tried
thanks scott
