Scott - re: DELL's management in the news.

Yes, I know they say it's the kiss of death to be on the cover of a magazine (and I saved the Worth issue on Intel.... just before it went into it's terrible decline). But it doesn't always hold true. I think about the publication on CSCO and Chambers repeatedly through the years (and they keep going up). I see the same thing for DELL and it's management and AOL and it's management.

When you look at the financials on DELL, their growth potential, ROE, ROA, business model and execution you have to have confidence in this company.

As for as 400 mg processors... don't worry in 2 years you'll probably insist that you have one. As far as 128mg ram.... Well most folks are buying 64 mg (128 is only double). All these things increase the performance of the PC and your experience using it. It's amazing how impatient we get once we've had something better. The PCs we used 2 years ago seem out of the dark ages.

When I think of how fast the population is growing and that each child that enters school will use PCs, parents will buy and upgrade, kids get their own PC when they go to college. It doesn't stop.... PC use is increasing exponentially around the world. And DELL is moving right up into the #2 slot.... #1 will be quick to follow.
