Has anyone out there heard of any firms rating this stock? A few years ago a company called Butterworths had viewed TVL $20-$25/share within a 24 month period. I wonder what they think today. If all fundamentals fall into place there should be no problems attaining this level in a few years.......

thank you,

Vas

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 1988--

Technical Installation Completed to Sell and Immediately Deliver

up to 500,000 Custom-Produced Software Programs Per Month

Acacia Research Corp. (NASDAQ/NMS:ACRI) announced today that its affiliate, Internet Software LLC, has completed the installation of the hardware, software, and network at its Alexandria, Virginia facility, and is preparing to release the Beta version of its first product, Signature-mail(TM), for PC versions of Netscape Messenger, Microsoft Outlook Express, and Outlook 98.

Internet Software now has the technical capacity to sell and immediately deliver online up to 500,000 custom-produced Signature-mail software programs per month.

Signature-mail is a proprietary software product that enables HTML e-mail users, which number over 20 million today, to personalize their electronic messages by including an image of their handwritten signatures, greetings, messages, and even drawings into e-mail messages, and to easily change the size and color.

E-mail is the largest, most popular Internet activity. Industry analysts project that e-mail users will increase from 80 million today to over 200 million by the end of 2000. It is predicted that almost all e-mail will be HTML-enabled by the end of 1999. The rapid adaptation of HTML as the standard for e-mail will significantly increase the market for Signature-mail.

Internet Software's mission is to become the leading provider of products and services that personalize e-mail with proprietary mass customization technologies. The company will sell through electronic and conventional media and deliver its products directly to customers online.

Internet Software has a series of five patent applications and several more are in process for unique product features as well as methods used for the automated mass customization of the production and delivery of Signature-mail. Internet Software is also developing additional proprietary technologies for various other platforms and products.

Internet Software contracted UUcom of Alexandria, Va. to provide its network design and implementation as well as to provide network security and assurance on an ongoing basis. UUcom is one of the premier Internet engineering companies in the country today and has designed and engineered Internet backbones for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to Internet Service Providers as well as entire countries.

Acacia Research Corporation acquired a 25% interest in Internet Software LLC in April 1998.

Acacia Research Corporation (ACRI) is a diversified capital management company with interests in several enterprises -- CombiMatrix Corporation (biochips/drug discovery technology), Greenwich Information Technologies LLC (video and audio on-demand technology), Internet Software LLC (internet software), MerkWerks Corporation (software development), Soundview Technologies Inc. (V-chip technology), Whitewing Labs Inc. (marketer of nutritional supplements), and the Company's investment advisory business (managing four private investment funds).

you said
This stock is really broken and more than one
house wants to unload positions. Poor longterm performance of a stock is
basically a death warrant in this volatile and uncertain stock market.

Do you know if another fund is now dumping since L-B seems to be finished, or is it just a general malaise.
ie is there a particular house doing most of the selling.
