Mr. Fabeyes, After a brief hiatus from the web I've returned to find that my posts have, apparently, whipped you into a frothy lather, so to speak. Let's discect your statement, shall we? <<Wrong!! Besides what comes out to probe is not and what sells it is the probe to ship. You should be the one to stop the BS and check ALL facts. I have the same info as sam dram.>> I'm not sure as to what you are saying I am incorrect about, Mr. Fabeyes. If it refers to my previous posting to Mr. sam dram, referring to the fact that both production fabs will, and in fact, already do have deep UV steppers processing .21 product, then, I must submit to you that you are, in fact, the one who is "Wrong!!". As to your comments on probe yields not being representative of what actually sells due to back end fall out, I never stated that they were. And finally, on this point, I'm really happy for you that you have the same information as Mr. sam dram, however, at least some of it is incorrect. <<With the TI deal not being completed until September, this will have a huge impact on this quarter; unless they can play the numbers game one more time.>> I've made no references in any of my posts as to my evil opinion on this quarter's performance. Perhaps, if you ask Dr. Evil nicely, he'll state his evil opinion for your digestion. As to the TI acquisition, it will obviously take time for the technology transfer to take place, in my evil mind, I'd say about a year after it's finalized. When I say don't doubt MU's ability to ramp these parts, I'm speaking only of the Boise site. They have shown an impressive ability to ramp state of the art parts quickly. One last thing to consider, not every mask layer requires deep UV technology in order to make a .21um part, bear that in mind when you start counting steppers. Now, I must attend to Mr. Bigglesworth's empty cat chow bowl, as he is meowing incessantly! Dr. Evil
