MeDroogies, I hope you don't mind me responding to you. I don't know how to write a note to myself until I have posted something. I am concerned with the seemingly inevitable growth of government and the consequent erosion of our rights. Since libertarianism is not widely understood, and it doesn't seem possible to get libertarians elected, is there any way to achieve some worthwhile goals? In my opinion a flat tax and privatization of social security would be steps in the right direction. I welcome comments from all, whether you agree or disagree. ER
