As long as their are Democrats and those who are more concerned about preserving their own power (money) rather than empowering others, there will never be a flat tax.

How about - I agree. Excellent first steps. That is precisely what I have been pushing for. Libertarians should limit the scope of what they wish to accomplish...that will help them get elected. Once elected, a wider net may be cast.
