Compaq management has said a lot of things over the past year. They are not always very accurate. The business is changing quickly and their projections recently have been dead wrong.

The stock has never gotten back up to it's high of a year ago.

When they show profits of $3-$4 a share, we can then talk about $80+ value.

Hello:

>> According to Compaq management's statement when they acquired DEC, they expect Compaq stock to be at $80 by this time next year. <<

I do not recall seeing an explicit statement predicting the price of stock from CPQ management. Could you please find date/url/who specifically made the statement or any thing so I can satisfy my own curiosity. I am not doubting that you did not see/hear, it is just for my own satisfaction.

Thanks.

regards,

Satish
