One thing's for sure....you can't accuse John of "doctoring" the photo...boy that would be a laugh..

I don't believe I've heard anybody mention....but looking at the photo, I saw what I believed to be the horizon...at quite a low angle....like they were either up on a hill OR near the coast...and the horizon was at the level it was because of the proximity to the ocean!!!! This not the type of thing that one could manipulate in a photo..do we know anything about the specific area where this ground breaking took place???....you see...I kind of have a thing about reading maps...all types...aerial photos, landsat images, infrared, elevation ....ALL types of maps...so I notice little things like this
