I think that WCOMP was Worldcom Preferred Stock shares. According to a notice on the WCOM web site, all preferred stock was called in for redemption as of 31 May 1998. These shares will no longer accrue interest after that date. I would contact WCOM investor relations immediately, it I were you. If you were the registered holder of any WCOMP, you should have received a notice from WCOM to this effect with redemption instructions.

wcomp was converted into 3.44 wcom, your position has simply lost the .65 cent Q dividend.
