'"The group director for the Year 2000 program at Telstra, Negba Weiss-Dolev, describes it as the 'emotional rhetoric' of the Y2K issue and says that while a call to action is needed, there is a danger that scaremongering could trigger, rather than prevent, trouble." This is from the group director of a y2k repair project for a government-owned telephone company company that initially announced that it would cost $100 million (Aus) to fix y2k, but then came back and said it would be $500m more. This is his "expert" in y2k alarmists' rhetoric. I am not impressed. ... garynorth.com
