On better news...this hit the wires today INTERNETWEEK, Page 16, July 27, 1998 Alpha Software, a subsidiary of SoftQuad International Inc., has debuted a low-end, turnkey electronic-commerce application for creating Web-based storefronts. Online Merchant, which will be made available through retail outlets, is a $99 package for small and medium-sized businesses and can be used to build Web-based storefronts without programming or knowledge of HTML.
