CSCO buys megabit ethernet switch products from MRVC and others, for instance. LU makes more than PBX products, believe it or not, and it buys from some of the same sources as does CSCO. Given that (1) LU is gunning for CSCO, and (2) the telecom oligopoly club is getting smaller and its fewer members more powerful, I suspect that ATT/BT is now better able to help LU than ATT alone could do so before.
