Inventory --

Thanks for the breakout or Raw, WIP, FG. Good point on others outsourcing the mfg, so a comparison would not be straightforward. However I would disagree with the stmt that you lose control of the ASIC if you outsource mfg. Actually I would think that a top tier board/system manufacturer would bring design rule discipline which MRVC may or may not have (I have no idea).

I am not advocating in or out, just saying the outsourcing ain't all bad. MRVC's competitive advantage is not mfg capabilty. IN or OUT will not determine success.

They still got too much. But 5-10 million bucks extra in inventory is not a big deal as long as growth continues.

Inventory:

according to conference call,
inventory breakdown is
40% raw materials, 33% wip, and 27% finished goods.


as opposed to 44%, 27% and 27% in Q1. Increase of 1.76% Q2 over Q1 while sales up 8%.

DSO: Q4 - 90, Q1 - 88, Q2 - 83.

Inventory Account Balance (COGS): Q4 - 123, Q1 - 118, Q2 - 112.
