I worry more about overall market conditions that I do specifically
about PSFT. I think we are heading into stormy times in the future
with inflationary pressures, y2k, Asia, etc. But because I have held PSFT for several years and plan to hold for several more, I think in the long run I will be quite satisfied with its performance. I am a bit concerned about the ramifications of y2k but if anything, if things start going south, PSFT will be seen as one of the solutions and will benefit greatly. I know of a few companies that may end up slapping PSFT (or like product, SAP, Oracle etc)in completely vanilla in the new millenium. Y2K remediation continues apace, but not everybody is working on it and not everybody is going to make it. I'm not one of those that believes the sky is going to fall, but there are going to be some moments over the next two years that are going to be quite interesting. My only concern is that conditions in my personal life (I'm married now) will require me to liquidate my position at the wrong time. This is where I'm coming from, long, as long as non-market conditions will allow. That is why I am bullish. If you are a short trader, yes I would be wary.
