If the $14.55 EPS in 2006 is even remotely correct than Ligand today is cheap at $20 and as you can easily deduct real cheap at $12.

If we take a PE of 25 and a yearly discount of 30% the correct price for Ligand today would be $44.60. Even if we only reach half that earnings figure $20 would still be cheap because a stock that is able to go up 30% a year for 8 years in a row is simply a great investment.

With a PE of 35 and a current stock price of $12 we have to go up 60%/year for 8 years to get the correct share price for $14.55 of earnings per share.

If we get only 10% of those earnings we still have an acceptable investment. With a PE of 25 and a current price of $12 Ligand stock price will have to rise 15%/year.

Nor will they help your posts. But that never seems to stop you.

"No explaination can make that statement credible."
Thank you for that response. You mean that you cannot understand the explanation and deliver a cogent opposing view. Your response was sort of funny. Probably because it is really easy to work a spell checker. Good luck in the real world.
