Hi, all. Dr. Quackenbush checking in from vacation in Maine. I always loved Groucho Marx, so I'll take Sherlock's comments as a compliment. By the way, Groucho played Dr. Hugo Quackenbush in "A Day at the Races", my all-time favorite Marx Brothers film. Does anybody remember the Tootsie Fruitsie scene? Groucho is trying to get down a bet on the race. "Two dollars on Sunup," he tells the unseen teller at the race window. In comes Chico, dressed as an ice cream vendor with a pushcart. "Hey, come getta yo' Tootsie Fruitsie!" (no disrespect intended to Italian Americans). He distracts Groucho, who gets interested in Chico and doesn't lay down his bet. Groucho tries to buy ice cream, but it turns out that all Chico has in the push cart is code books that are supposed to tell you which horse will win the race. He buys one, and Chico wheels away the cart. "Ice cream!!! Getta yo' Tootsie Fruitsie Ice Cream!" Groucho can't figure out what's in the code book, so he runs after Chico, who sells him another book to decode the first. Business done, he wheels away the cart. "Hey, come getta yo' Tootsie Fruitsie!". Well, Groucho can't figure out what's in that book either, so he has to buy another one. More "Tootsie Fruitsie", more books, and finally Chico wheels away, leaving a hapless Groucho with an armful of them, having never gotten down his bet on Sunup. The horse wins the race. Sherlock's so-called DD is nothing but Tootsie Fruitsie that never leads anywhere. He still hasn't explained how ALYA has managed to pay over 30 salaries for two years on the $300,000 which is all he says ALYA ever received from its financing. Then he comes with S.E.C. codebooks, allegations of unreported inside sales, fantasies about offshore debentures -- wheels within wheels. None of his allegations is ever satisfactorily proven, but that doesn't matter -- he's always got another secret code book to sell. "DD!!! Come getta yo' Tootsie Fruitsie DD!" My bet is down on ALYA. And you know what? I don't know exactly how long it will take, but I continue to be confident that this horse is a winner.
