1. Look at last 28 quarters instead of last 6 (www.tellabs.com has those news releases)

2. Tellabs was never a "one-trick pony."

3. Some detailed research on Tellabs' plans for future would make you feel much more comfortable than "lucky."

Congrats on picking up the stock, tho! You'll be happy in spite of yourself, IMHO!

synchro, had to laugh when I read your post: I, too, got over my fear of buying a very 'expensive' TLAB some time ago cause the Steinbrecher deal pushed me over the top [read Gilder as well]. So now Steinbrecher looks like chopped liver, but TLAB looks like very expensive Platinum. Go figure. Mike Doyle

Synchro...I hear you say you took a guess...you have enjoyed the ride. Why did you have confidence to go with tlab? Did you read an opinion of a sound money manager/analyst?...Where do the ideas to entertain the issue come from?...Vted
