About IBM .... I believe you ARE exactly right and do not think it is far off !!!!

(1) There is a lot of leveragable value in INPR for IBM
(2) With today's report that IBM is doing better and making more with their "mainframes", it gives them some $$ for an INPR buyout ??

Re: "I would wager that at a sub $10/share price IBM would be interested."

If you are invested in INPR that is exactly what you are doing wagering. And your wager is what it cost you for that investment. Not knowing what that is, i would ask do, you really want IBM to buy below $10 share? Or would you rather INPR buy back that $10million worth first?

Common INPR start buying your shares back now! let's get that value up!

INPR would be a good buy for IBM. IBM were somewhat slow to wake up to the PC market and then the NC market, and probably need some leading edge software technology...upstart companies like MSFT, INTC <g> moved into the new markets...

Other possible buyers might be ORCL or SUNW due to the Java component.

Maybe Motorola might be interested...can't JAVA be used for mobile telecommunications? Maybe Rod knows.

In a takeover situation INPR would be worth about $15 per share. Merryl Lynch is in at about $12 and would want to make a profit.

The possibility of a buyout is a reason to stay in...the buyout price is much more than the current share price.
