Kevin,

So far I have done nothing. I am trying a new look at the moving averages and the TICK and trying to find a better combination. So far today it is keeping me flat.

Will let the thread know if it signals anything, if I am watching at the time.

For those of you following along, I just got a short on the new methodology. These are very short term moves and I don't know how it works yet. By the time I am done typing this, the move could be over. It is that quick, scalp trades. Short 1148. Stop 1149.50 to 1150.

Grins and giggles.....

EDIT - got short at 1147.60, covered at 1146.80. Covered early, got nervous. System does not give out signals, that is left to judgement.

Kev:

---->Abyone else short, long, or just waiting?

one trait I share with the BlueCelt is an inability to trade when my attitude is improperly focused on the market.....
having a tad bit of turmoil in my life just now so I'm a "just waiting"

Just waiting.

As it happens, each time I saw a short setting up I was interrupted/distracted.

Looking at a possible short setting up at the moment, but it's already lost a lot of ground.

I think the day will see a rally later however, and put in a higher high than yesterday....just a guess.

Okay I'm short looking for sub-40 on the spoo.

Which I guess would be around 35 on Cash.

I'm pretty jumpy with this, I must say.

EDIT Primarily the little surge in the Banks have me concerned.
