Sorry, but if they wanted to rescend the merger, they would in no way be obligating MTEI to additional leases and costs.. Why not? Mountain Energy would still exist; it just wouldn't be a public company anymore. I'm not a lawyer; I can scarcely offer an authoritative opinion. I'm only suggesting that you check the implications of the suit MTEI may intend to bring. Once again, this is what the legal lurker had to say: The MTEI lawsuit is asking for equitable relief which could mean new management is seeking to rescind the contract to buy ICVI! I guess that would leave the shareholders with a shell.
