Small Caps...

Doug:

I agree with your comments about the small caps... They are the last area of the market where good value can be found... When they take off as a group, there will be plenty of upside as huge amounts of money chase a relatively small supply of shares...

Genesis Initiates Coverage of International Fibercom; Analyst Sets Buy Rating

SAN FRANCISCO, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- JW Genesis Capital Markets analyst Arindam S. Basu initiated coverage of International Fibercom, Inc. (Nasdaq: IFCI) with a buy rating based on research that the stock is trading at a significant discount to its impressive earnings growth rate.

Basu noted, "We believe International Fibercom could grow even more rapidly via its acquisition strategy." The company provides design, maintenance, and installation services for the telecommunications and cable television industries. Its products and services are used in rapidly growing markets such as Internet access, digital data transmission and voice communications.

Basu forecasts that the company will position its products to take advantage of the expanding Internet market. Currently, Internet and data traffic are clogging local phone networks; increased bandwidth is becoming a "must have" for business and residential settings; and the worldwide rollout of bandwidth enabling technologies creates large potential markets for International Fibercom's products and services, which if captured, could dramatically accelerate the company's growth rate.
