Can you find any wisdom in this post by dirk?

>>Gravitar, you must run the ATI AGP card as your primary adapter.
(It actually depends on the Win98 version and on the type of your card) This should solve your problem.

The general rule is like this:

If the chipset of your graphic card is not on the list of supported chipsets of Win 98 then you need a special Win98 driver from your card vendor. If you dont have this special Win98 support this card must your so called >primary adapter< .

All other added cards (the >secondary< adapters) must have explicit Win98 support.

Back to your AGP card:
Since
1. ATI has no Win98 support for their graphic cards yet (this is what I know) and
2. there is no AGP card in the list of supported chip sets
you must run your ATI card as primary adapter. Your are in trouble if one of your PCI cards is unsupported as well.<<<<<<<

I'm wondering if you you have the same experience if you used
graphics cards on the list provided at #reply-4660057

I am running windows 98 with an AMD K6 2/300 on a FIC Va-503+ board with 128mb of Mitsubishi pc100 SDRAM. I also have two mag 17 monitors with a 8mb Matrox g200 Millennium in the AGP and a 8mb Millennium II PCI with the latest drivers running at 800 x 600, 24 bit color. Basically everything is working pretty well except for a very vague horizontal line traveling vertically through each screen, it goes up on one screen and down the other a couple of seconds apart. Anybody know how I can fix this.
Thanks, John
