I invested for the long term and had a hard time selling. My mistake. The most costly one I've ever made.

Richard,

I don't understand what there is to be real positive about in this sector, do you?

I own these stocks like Marc and dozens of others because I was caught with high price stock that I now don't want to sell for a loss. I am sure paper losses are staggering for many here...

What many are trying to do is catch the bottom and, to this date, have been unsuccessful.

I don't think Marc's any more negative than others, but I guess you don't know his style of humor...

Richard, I can't speak for Marc, but my guess is that he is in the same boat as a lot of us. We wish we were not in this sector, large losses have been sustained, but we can't bring ourselves to liquidate our positions. Part of it is psychological (tough to accept large losses, hate to panic in a downturn, etc) and part of it is a belief that the sector has much superior fundamentals. So we hang on......and hope.
