Why do they need financing? They already have over $20 million in cash and they are supposed to be profitable.

I'm not sure about these shares but preferred stock is usually sold at higher values than the common. Preferred usually are given priority rights over common shares in bankruptcy issues among other things. I would assume this to be a negative they should have been priced above the current price.

I guess that's why they can afford to buyback $10million worth they may have know this deal was coming so it really didn't take any monies away from the case hoard. They should of used $20milliion to buyback then the stock would have risen..
