Richard, if I were buying at these levels for the first time in this sector, I'd possibly have a much different (and more positive) perspective. But, I guess the prospect of sitting on dead money for a long period isn't nearly as painful to me as sitting on losses for a long period.

Richard,

Nice to hear from old Amatians, too. I, on a lark, went over there this morning just to lurk! How ironic. Still going.

We've been down the making new lows, blood in the streets, and nadir stuff. We all thought it was months ago. That's why real the pain is so great, because of all the knife catch attempts, without success.

We're not done yet , IMHO. This sector is like SEMI's. Try RON at 80 last October (now 37), try GLM at 36 (now 14). MAVK in the 50's (now 9). These are HUGE losses. Guess what? Many still have stock from those high levels.

Many are now LT players, NOT by their choosing but by happenstance. IE ST trader caught in the snare of not pushing the "sell" button because the fundamentals were so damn compelling. Just when we figured out all of this Asia stuff was for real, and OPEC are idiots for raising their export quotes on top of it, it made for the circumstances we are now in. Oh, yes...La Zorro, or whatever, didn't help.

I remember our ebulence about AMATI, and look what's happening now. I've learned a lot about checking the rose colored glasses at the door.....

Best Regards,

PS: Glad I got 20 for AMTX. It'd be worth alot less today, IMHO.
