Your question was to Sam but thought I would throw in my two-cents worth. I moved all of my 401K money into guaranteed funds about three months ago and now I'm glad I did. We ain't out of the woods on this one and if you look at the new high and new low list, it doesn't look pretty. This is a big indicator for me as to the direction the market is heading. Get the Barron's over the past few weeks and you will see what I mean about this barometer. Look at companies like Coca Cola, Gillette, Boeing and others and you will see major problems with these core companies. 8000 isn't out of the realm of possiblities in the short term. I'm trying to save some Powder because once we get over this bump, a good rally should be in store.ALL MO.

I think people are beginning to realize that there is more than a remote possibility of a "President" Gore! The chart called for a "profit taking adjustment" two weeks ago but not anything approaching 10%. We are now -4.6% from the recent top of 9367.84 but the demand keeps bouncing back. Right now I've got to call it a trading range situation. Nobody should have taken on much risk since March. If things change I'll post. Sam
