Starr's popularity or lack thereof has been no hindrance in the many Court battles he has already won over Clinton's claims of privilege. While there is at least an underlying basis to oppose the subpoena, IMO the fact that Clinton personally reauthorized the IC law undercuts any position he might take that he can defy the subpoena. The President is a covered person under the IC law. JLA
