Hi Bill . . .

My armor is very thick indeed and has served me well through the years thank you very much!

I am a fan of Quantum Reality so I will give you two predictions:

scenario one:

we take out 1200 on the SPX between now and August 31st.

High for the year DJIA = 9811.67 on October 22, followed by slow decline culminating in a major correction day (BK) on January 12 on which day the DJIA will close at 7966.19. From there a rally to 8750 or so, followed by a sell off to 7169 by December 31, 1999.

Scenario Two:

we do not take out 1200 on the SPX cash before August 31st, 1998.

BK to 8100 on September 22, 1998, followed by recovery to 8750 or so by year end.

I am sure reality will prove my predictions to have been utterly foolish . . . never claimed to be Nostradamus.

Still think the best bet is to sell those straddle spreads hedge all bets. Ever noticed how the home run kings strike out more than the batting average leaders? Anyway, I always liked Quantum Physics more than baseball; and by observing the markets we definitely change them.

By the way . . . Wednesday we go up . . . rah rah rah . . . Dow 10,000! <g>

Best wishes

William: Interesting predictions. You expect the low 4300 to be set this year?

My indictors do not predict future price. They are trend following and or predictors. (intra day, short, medium, long) I just try to be on the right side of the trend.

Regards,
LG

Have not day traded for years, until recently. Intra day stuff still very basic!

Bill and all,

Warmest wishes for the holidays. I have had a good few months
going bullish/long, and haven't had the time to be playing
with options as of late... in any case, here is a repost
of our predictions for 1998... now how do we compute scoring?
:-) I suggest that we only count the figure for Close :-)
Shall we do another round of this for 1999? With y2k coming
up and all? We could name it the end-of-millenium prediction
contest (except some would object that the millenium doesn't
end till december 2000).
