US to unveil head injury vehicle standards....Today ....Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety said it welcomed the expected changes and hoped DOT would eventually issue a unified rule covering both the head injury standard and side-impact protection..... ....Manufacturers met that standard by providing improved padding on pillars and roof side rails.
