I didn't see any mention of an article I saw at the Semiconductor Business News site about Intel's price reductions. Looks like the Celeron (w/o the cache) will be available for only $86. The price drop was sooner than anticipated and seemed to be almost across the line of CPU's. Sorry for no link to the details.

I have to agree with Rob about the advantage of the low power utilization that the WC has. This has to be a desirable thing to a lot of OEM's (read laptops).

IMHO, IDT should really push to get on the stick with IBM. It is pretty much a given that IDT is having problems ramping up speed grades in any kind of volume. Now that AMD has pulled out of the production deal with IBM, I'm sure they are looking for business. IBM seems to be anouncing foundry deals quite often. Hear is a dream: the IBM made WC-3 will run at 500Mhz with @0.18 with CU interconnects?
