(I'm so important to the country that I don't have to obey subpoenas, let my bodyguards testify, etc.) I believe some people think Gates puts himself in this category. Those people, ironically, being the heads of other corporate concerns. I was just trying to point out, and apparently not very successfully, that there are numerous leaders in this country beyond the president, that the president is in no way a greater influence on say, children than corporate leaders, so if we are going to use the "bad influence on society" tag then we better clean up the whole lot - impossible.
