Just a couple of items I thought I would pass along:

1) HOSTING: I called into ATHM today and they are finally offering web hosting - now!! And they did it right by allowing the little guys in. I am going to switch ISPs to them because they are very competitive (entry level is $50/mo) and they have a great name for bandwidth service. This will be major $$$ for ATHM - check it out: www.work.com

2) ROLL OUT: I told the guy at ATHM I needed to know about when the roll out for SF bay area big cities was. He said not to quote him but it would be before the end of the year - they are shooting for a lot of big roll outs by the end of the year.

What do you think of the additional stock?
Perhaps to be used for a split?

In the process of setting up my hosting account with ATHM, I was talking to someone who seemed to know what was going on.

I asked him what was going to be done with the new stock and how they plan to have so many roll outs this fall since TCI is so slow at getting things done.

He said the new stock is going to be used for upgrading equipment and getting ready for the big push which is just ahead. He then pointed out to me that the reason we hear about so much ATHM deployment coming up is that ATHM is going to be offered over DSL. So the idea is that when the DSL guys do their roll out this fall, ATHM will simply say "Choose whatever hook-up you want: DSL, cable, leased line, etc - then call us up - we can work over whatever you choose."

What have you heard along these lines?
