jlalllen,
Regarding Monica and the talking points: My gut feeling is that she will lie to protect the president if she thinks that she will not be caught. A eventual perjury charge against her would not surprise me once the "dust" settles.

Perhaps Ken Starr is going to pull a
rabbit outta the old hat with Monica.
What if she takes the stand and claims
that she wrote the talking points, when
the Grand Jury has already seen plenty
of evidence to indicate that the points
were written by Bruce Linsey? Perhaps,
Ken Starr just wants to put the little
tart on the stand just to walk her into
a trap. After all, she isn't the fish
he wants to fry.

Starr is the only one smiling. That's very reassuring.

Other news "outlets" are reporting that Monica says Tripp composed them with her. That's pretty ridiculous.

I suspect more Clintonista disinformation.
