Its a bear mkt in enterprise sw, Amsterdam, and I for one have no idea what to do. I've started hanging out on the "CNBC hunks" thread. Arrrggghh

No, Kennedy did not originate the space program. That occurred in the 1950's, well before a speech writer told Kennedy that he needed to set a goal for his administration and the nation, mentioning putting men on the moon before the end of the decade.

Indeed, much of US dominance in high tech can be traced to defense spending on R & D, of which the space program was a part.
