<You know there's a ton of filth and unprovable crimes associated with the person, but you gotta go with your best provable legal case.....> Which makes it even more incredible because as far as I can tell, Starr's investigation had basically petered out with basically nothing provable against the President. Then the Monica story broke, giving new life to Starr's investigation. To me, it's like getting away with a million dollar bank robbery in Mt. Pilot, then getting caught by Barney Fife for speeding in Mayberry.
