security for personel comm. devices and wireless transmission are the future.
80% of the world is and will rely upon wireless technology due to lacking cable infrastructures and the cost/maintenance of managing them. Some countries include (China, Africa, Western Europe, Iceland, Various islands, Canada, etc.. the list goes on)
Satelite technology is currently being refined to handle the increased data loads efficiently. Designated communication satelites are also being put in place, if they haven't already. DVNTF is right on the front line. Hope they can hang in there...

The telecommunication company pager contract and this satelite contract are crucial for DVNTF's business plan. MSFT and NSCP are hanging around to see how this stuff goes.

HP, IBM and other various companies are spending ALOT of time and money for wireless R&D. In a couple of years, these companies will be able to lease space abord the new space shuttle (named X1; i think) and put what ever they want in orbit. The revolution of wireless data is just begining.
