Merrill is doing the Intrepid deal for PSFT and are under restriction until the deal is completed. So they have not said a thing since reiterating a strong buy a month and a half ago at 48. They came out neutral to bearish on Baan after their earnings today. So why the selling by Merrill?

It looks to me like 35 was a support level. If we start to go below this point then looks like 31 is the next support. Is this correct? Looks like it bounced off this slightly but I still don't think it looks positive. Just MHO here.

I know there is a buying opportunity somewhere here....just don't know where it is. To be quite honest I'm surprised to see psft here. From a purely technical perspective I guess it's not a surprise at all. Sometimes I guess you can know a company and stock so well that you just don't want to believe it.

Intel .. Perhaps ML was selling on client orders and not their own holdings
