OK, so if Kurlak has credibility, we should be thanking him, not throttling him. Here's why. If there is too much silicon, as he put it, already in the pipeline, then they will... wait a sec .... ohhhh, he's talking about PROCESSORS (and maybe MEMORY) that's why they quote INTC and TXN stock prices.... so, they will be lowering prices on processors and memory, in order to sell them faster.

So how many people buy processors and memory without, say, motherboards, powersupplies and graphics cards? So if more graphics cards are being sold (and that being more true at the "cost concious" level) maybe that means more demand for Banshee.

And if graphics boards now cost less, and DIMD and CREAF are in a bitter war for marketshare, so maybe prices go down a little (and with cheaper memory, maybe pricing pressure on TDFX goes down too), and some of them new systems get sold with VooDooTwo boards. Or maybe, when the $200 magic price level is reached - a bunch of VDII people go SLI.
