Tom, You state just what I also believe. I have friends who have been very offended by any talk that pre-trib is not true. I think they are at risk for being deceived by the beast. It is fear of suffering that makes so many cling to pre-trib. It's the perfect "american" doctrine because nobody has to suffer. I also have a friend who is into "kingdom now" which also opens him up to deception by the beast. He asserts the prophecies in Rev. are all fulfilled. But I can't seem to get through to him that if what he says is true then Revelation is not a revelation at all but just a history book because the events he says fulfill the prophecies took place before the Revelation of John was written.

This time also marks the first death( the death of the flesh) The first death is commenced at the time we all were changed, and took on our spirits body. The flesh having been done away with. There and then will the 1000 yr. reign of our Lord commence, and during that time satan will be cast into the pit...and real teaching and discipline will mark this 1000 yr. reign of Christ. At the end of the 1000 yrs. satan will again be loosed, and this marks the time for the second resurrection. The second resurrection is of those who unfortunately, did not take part in the first resurrection, but are not deceived a second time by satan, and are now ready to put on immortality. It is also at the end of the 1000 yr. reign that the second death takes place. The second death is of the soul, and those who did not partake in the first resurrection nor in the second resurrection, (because they were once again decieved by satan when he was loosed from his pit at the end of 1000 yrs.)will now face the lake of fire, and experience the second death....God help them.
