Does anyone know the source of the SEC investigation. Someone reminded me that the "perfect short" was one that never had to be covered. We know that the shorters had big $$ on the line here and is it not inconceivable that they saw the delay in the Stagg/Dunn reports as a chance to pounce??

Anyway, we will get our answer as to land value.

Janice and the FBN gang, don't bother responding, I know where your $$ are. eom.

Steven,

I just got the same call, from Carmine. I guess we were on the same track. I did ask if all the criteria to satisfy the SEC concerns were met tomorrow, would it start trading again. He said he wasn't sure, but did not see why not. As for the 15c2-11 he was clueless.

Steven, as a matter of policy the SEC never comments on an active investigation. The next thing (if anything) that you hear from the SEC will be an announcement of charges. They won't make any announcement if there is insufficient evidence for charges. In the meantime its up to MTEI to get independently verifiable facts (such as audited financials) to any MM interested in making a market.
