Brazil Cellular Company Revenues

TELESP CELULAR PARTICIPACOES S.A.- Seen by industry
analysts as the most attractive of the cellular companies on
offer, covers a population of close to 34 million in the
country's wealthiest state, Sao Paulo. It says it has tapped
four percent of the potential market. Customers: 1.3 billion in
Q1. Net operating revenues: 642.2 million reais by May 31.

TELEMIG CELULAR PARTICIPACOES S.A. - Operates in Minas
Gerais state, considered by industry analysts among most
efficient companies of Telebras system. It says it has tapped 3
percent of the potential market. Current customers: 452,593.
Net operating revenues: 514.9 million reais by May 31.

TELE CELULAR SUL PARTICIPACOES S.A. - Groups three cellular
telephone companies in the southern states of Parana, Santa
Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul with an estimated population of
14 million. It says it has tapped 3.4 percent of the potential
market. Customers: 484,396. Net revenue: $332.4 million by
December 1997.

TELE SUDESTE CELULAR PARTICIPACOES S.A. - Groups two
cellular companies in Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo states.
It says it has tapped 3.73 percent of the potential market.
Customers: 598,011. Net revenue: $558.4 million by December
1997.

TELE CENTRO OESTE CELULAR PARTICIPACOES S.A. - Groups six
cellular telephone companies in the center-west, covering the
states of Mato Grosso do Sul, Goias, Mato Grosso, Rondonia,
Acre and the Federal District. It says it has tapped 2.82
percent of the potential market. Customers: 382,143. Net
revenue: $395.3 million by December 1997.

TELE NORDESTE CELULAR PARTICIPACOES S.A. - Groups six
companies in the Northeast in the states of Alagoas,
Pernambuco, Paraiba, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceara and Piaui. It
says it has tapped 1.81 percent of the potential market.
Current customers: 466,784. Net revenue: $453.5 million by
December 1997.

TELE NORTE CELULAR PARTICIPACOES S.A. - Groups five
companies in the northern states of Amazonas, Roraima, Para,
Amapa and Maranhao. It says it has tapped 1.51 percent of the
potential market. Customers: 207,980. Net revenue: $205.6
million by December 1997.

TELE LESTE CELULAR PARTICIPACOES S.A. - Groups companies in
the states of Bahia and Sergipe. It says it has tapped 1.4
percent of the potential market. Customers: 211,673. Net
revenue: $209.6 million by December 1997.
