22%? We need to start a rumor! Obviously the street will believe anything! Ill start: Businesswire 7/28 15:32 - Ascend Communications (OTC: ASND) and Cisco Systems (OTC: CSCO) planning mega merger. Everybody wins; banks, lawyers, taxman. Earnings will be accreditive (sp?) to both companies next quarter. Plans 50% one day discount on shares on 7/30/98 to all faithful shareholders on record for 7/29/98. Mory Ejabat, CEO of Ascend, says "John Chambers has a real neat golf course in back of his office so we are moving in with them." John Chambers, CEO Cisco, replys "Yeah, and I cant wait to get my hands on Ejabat's Mazeratti! He'll never see it again." This one will fly, just wait and see! Pete :o)
