Linda Tripp is on giving a live press briefing now. She sounds sharp, articulate and very credible. She's now denying having prepared the talking points. She says it's a "preposturous" lie. After hearing this allegation reported on ABC's Nightline last night, I wondered about the logistics of her preparing them and then receiving them from Monica on tape. Of course, the brilliant minds of ABC didn't probe that inconsistency last night. Why ruin a good story with facts?
