Or that guy at Texaco with the tape recorder in the Board room. Heck, we don't even know
his name.

They did something on 60 minutes with him. It was a real letdown from a story perspective. I expected him to have some higher agenda, etc. and all he was was a disgruntled employee worried about his personal job and severence package. Thats probably why you dont see much of him.

>>It's clear that the difference with Linda Tripp is that she has big-time evidence against a liberal White House. She's just on the wrong side of the political fence from the media. If the tables were reversed - with a Republican President - you know she'd be hailed as heroic.

You words could not be more true. I have also read that Maryland really has questionable jurisdiction, since Linda's taping was on an interstate call.

Linda's action was smart and good - she needed undeniable evidence that a Federal crime that was being committed by the most powerful and corrupt man on this planet. She was solicited to become part of that crime and knew that those same powerful forces would try to destroy her if she told the truth. She knew their record and tactics.

It took great courage and she should be applauded by people who believe in the Constitution.
