Thean,
The best job I ever had was working for a few vets through high school, but I went on to become an electrical engineer anyway. It shows in my writing too! I re-read my post to you; whew, I'm glad you figured out what I was trying to ask. Anyway, thanx a bunch for the reading.
The only VCAI news I can find is last week's great earnings announcement. I like the chart a lot but agree with you going long in this market is a bit scarry. Maybe there's a good cheap option play left here? Whoever got those March 20s at 1 5/8 today already made 46%!
Thanx again...Alski

Here are some plays I am looking at. Done just very cursory chart looks, so all disclaimers apply ( I have looked at charts only, no fundies):

LONG

CTV - breakout on big volume
RML - upward move confirmed by candles
SRA - nice pop with big volume, will it continue?
UTR - 3 day consistent move up
ELP - bullish engulfing, good volume, Lehman says buy

SHORTS

I need help here. I think the market is sick and the short side is the best way to play. There are folks that think we'll have a bounce. If so, this would be a great opportunity to short the internuts, IMO. I missed out on my favorite short, LCOS, today. but all of them appear weak.

TTC - getting killed by Honda. Not for a quick buck, but maybe 1/8 or so per day. I almost shorted TTC last month, but decided to go with WIT, AMP, and BGG. Stopped out of AMP for a 5 point gain so I am adding TTC. Asia is not going away.

WCAP - bid up from 1 to 12 over the last two weeks. Apparently have an interest in the Geocities IPO out either THU or FRI. they may get a pop up, then a decline. Be careful.

Good trading and do due diligence.
