A good point Darrell. More importantly IMO is that I think its reprehensible to afford him any special considerations. He's being investigated for possible felonious criminal behavior. While he is innocent until proven guilty of criminal wrongdoing, he should be playing on the same field we all have to play on if we were in his shoes. JLA

>>I hope Starr is not about to "win the battle but lose the war". Clinton testifying with counsel present is not good. The next thing we hear, counsel will be answering the questions for him, or advising him on how to answer during the process.

I think Starr was determined to report by September. He knew Clinton would ultimately lose but could run the clock for months. Starr boxed him in by agreeing because he knew:

1) Clinton could not maintain the facade of a "pressing schedule" while taking a two week vacation. Judge Johnson reportedly so ruled just that in the face of that particular Clintonista lie.

2) that Clinton has committed serial perjury and nothing can undo those crimes.

I have also read and believe that affair Lewinsky represents just 4% of the crimes that Starr will report that Clinton has committed.
