I am not excited about the settlement, but it's a settlement and gives them certain non-strike assurances. Also, maybe and hopefully they will work more cooperatively together in the future.

The next important date is what's coming out of the Board meeting of 08/03, allthough drastic measures seem unlikely. Slowly, slowly the costs will come down. I see a process over many years, but one day they'll be lean, too. The UAW sits at the short end ulitmately, IMO.

I bought yesterday during the initial weakness. I think it was a gift.
