That is why I have inquired about Lambda, their parent company states that they will have lasers in production environments in Q1 1999. Not to mention the currency advantage that Komatsu has. Also look at ASML's most recent release, they are hurting.

Cymer presently has no real competition. What exactly does increased potential competition mean? That their competitors are 6 months behind cymers 5000 series product? That this same product is in the process of being phased out to make room for a more advanced model? And the Orion lasers are even more technologically advanced?

Possible Potential Competition?

How about Kinda might have a little sorta possible potential competition.

I think the fact that they had something like 7% top line growth, with increasing ASP's was pretty good considering the industry. What exactly does the pe mean anyway? (i happen to disagree with your idea that it is overvalued anyway). Look at some other stocks, like any internet stock, or even a stock like GE. What would you call those pe's? Value?
